Thematics and goals

The journal is interdisciplinary, unlike other Armenian scientific periodicals specialized in narrow scientific fields. It encompasses the whole spectrum of the social sciences: history, philosophy, sociology, jurisprudence, political studies, economics, linguistics, literature studies, art history, psychology, pedagogy, history, religious studies, ethnography, folklore and archaeology. The Armenian studies constitute a considerable part of the journal’s content, without thematic, chronological and spatial limitations.
The journal covers corresponding articles, reports, publications, reviews, anniversaries and obituaries.
To discuss various issues in corresponding fields, the journal is open for both the Armenian and international scholars in Armenia and the Diaspora. While publishing mainly the works of honoured researchers, it also fosters innovative approaches of the younger generation of scholars.
Based on the continuous traditions and experience of the Armenian humanities and social sciences, the journal strives to international standards.
